We enter this holiday season with renewed hope for the recovery of the economy. Last year the economy seemed poised for recovery until Governor Davis reported the state was experiencing fiscal woes and we could not cover the cost of government. The uncertainty of the state budget caused people to hold on spending, which I believe halted the recovery.
