Commonly Asked Questions Why is the Chamber of Commerce located on Tenth Street and not with the rest of the city offices? The Tracy Chamber of Commerce is not a part of the city government. It is a private association of business people that supports the various needs of the business community as a whole. Do consultants ever provide free advice to companies that are struggling or small? A few consultants will work on what is known as a pro bono basis. I set aside about twenty-percent of my time for helping companies that cannot afford my services. I find it to be good business. Be sure to let any consultant know of these circumstances at the beginning of the relationship.
