One-day sessions generally do not allow the analysis needed to assure the company is moving in the correct direction. They generate a lot of activity, but not necessarily accomplishments toward the right goal. Do you write our Strategic Plan or just facilitate with the team? I am often asked to bring the plan together to edit and format the plan, but the physical plan is not the objective.
