ITT Technical Institute
Tech Fest |
|
May 6, 2004 marked the day of the most recent ITT Technical Institute Tech Fest held at the Lathrop, CA campus. Tech Fest is the college’s equivalent of an open house where industry leaders can visit the campus, examine the student’s projects, and offer suggestions on how to improve the curriculum. The event also gives the students to meet and mingle with potential employers in the area.

Exhibits included an automatic
watering system that takes into account the different water requirements
of the plants. It uses a mobile tank and sensors to know what plants
are in the row and the computer tells the system how much water is needed
for those plants.
